Nintendo may add more incentives for customers who are loyal to the brand

With Nintendo's President Satoru Iwata having, in recent days, discussed Nintendo's strategy aimed at turning around the company's fortunes, particularly after the Wii U's disappointing sales performance, some new reports have now revealed that Nintendo seemingly has plans underway to add more incentives for customers who are loyal to its brand.

Already, Nintendo has the Club Nintendo advantage which allows customers to register their purchases, so as to earn points towards trinkets. At times, Nintendo also gives the customers exclusive access to downloadable games. However, the company is now coming up with a more substantial plan for customers who show brand loyalty.

The plan which Nintendo is probably working on is to offer discounts to customers on future purchases if they buy games in large numbers, and also refer their family and friends and family. The plan will, as is evident, chiefly aim at increasing Nintendo's sales while it makes efforts to work out some kind of a revival of the Wii U console.

With Nintendo always having had the market cornered on price point, the new plan will give a noteworthy boost to the company's software sales. The move to offer discounts on bulk purchase of games will give Nintendo an additional advantage in the budget gaming arena.

Moreover, the tracking of the customers' purchase of tons of games, Nintendo will have to introduce a unified account system --- something which the customers have been demanding for a long time!
